For Bathers and Blooms, an emerging fashion brand based in Toronto, I designed a custom hardware piece that functions as both a signature element and a structural component of their bathing suits. The form draws inspiration from the flowing shapes of the Aegean Sea, the curves of ancient Greek sculpture, and the organic beauty of nature. These references merge into a unique, abstract design that embodies sophistication and evolution—symbolizing how every woman is continually growing, discovering her strength, beauty, and true self. As a small yet meaningful detail, the piece was crafted to reflect light and highlight the beauty within every woman.
“...this is exceptional!! Exactly how I envisioned the hardware project...” — Founder of Bathers and Blooms.
The design process moved from 2D sketches, establishing the foundation, to multiple 3D low-poly previews refined through client feedback, and finally to high-poly detailed renders with materials for accurate visualization. To ensure functionality, I provided precise sizing specifications for fabrication. I also delivered augmented reality previews by exporting the 3D model in USDZ and GLB formats, enabling the client to interact with the hardware at true-to-life scale across web and mobile platforms. This thoughtful workflow resulted in a product that seamlessly blends aesthetic impact with practical use.
