For Preston Pablo’s latest EP Anywhere But Here, I collaborated with Universal Music as a 3D Designer and Projection Technician, producing real-time, immersive photorealistic backdrops that fused music and environment into a cohesive visual narrative. Leveraging virtual production techniques, the project created a seamless interplay between sound and setting, elevating the storytelling behind the EP.
Using Unreal Engine 5, I designed and projected two real-time atmospheric scenes—a sunrise and the subtle movement of tree shadows—that served as dynamic backdrops during on-site shoots. In addition, I created high-resolution still-image projections, including midnight city rooftops and blurred neon street visuals, to support the film crew with cinematic depth and tone. Together, these elements enhanced the EP’s themes, adding a strong sense of place and mood to the overall production.
